During the day, the park and farm are open to visitors. The grounds are used by picnicers and people looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Fremont. You're free to arrive early and look around before our event.

Sunday: Picnic星期天 野餐

We reserved San Mateo Central Park Picnic Area 2. It's between the Rose Garden and the playground. We plan to get there at 10:30am, and will offer snacks like donuts and pastries. Please feel free to come by to say hi! The park has a small but nice Rose Garden and Japanese Garden. This park is located in downtown San Mateo, and there are restaurants and to-go places within walk-in distance. Monday: Cherry Picking星期一 摘樱桃

One of our favorite annual activity is cherry picking at G&S farm in Brentwood. Compared to northern neighbors in Oregon and Washington, Brentwood's delicate climate is perfect for delicious, late season cherries. The season starts in mid May and last until early June. The cherries are fresh, sweet and delicious. It's a lot of fun to sample cherries and pick personal favorite trees. It can get quite crowded and Brentwood gets hot around noon, so we're planning on getting there at 9:30am.
